About the EJM Residential Inspections
Hello, my name is James Ellison; I am a college graduate with two B.S. degrees and a Master’s in Business Administration. I spent a career working on geological and environmental issues for large international and domestic companies involved in Oil and Gas exploration and production. I lived for many years in foreign countries and enjoyed exposure to new cultures and different ways of thinking.
I started EJM Residential inspections after deciding I needed a change and wanted to be home more to spend more time with my daughters and grandchildren. As an engineer and contracts manager, I have developed a good eye for detail in all things.
Years ago, I stopped paying people to do repairs and improvements to my home because I could do it better. I was not “in a hurry to get something done and be out the door and on to the next one.” I have brought that same attention to detail and thoroughness to Home Inspecting. I want every customer to be satisfied with my report.
EJM was founded to serve the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. I am licensed to perform Home Inspections throughout Texas and to perform pool inspections nationally. In addition to home inspections, both myself and my drone aircraft are fully licensed and registered by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for real estate or other photographic missions.
EJM Residential Inspections. LLC (EJM) is a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) incorporated to provide single-family home and small multi-family homeowners, real estate professionals, and investors with quality reasonable home inspection services. Our goal is to inspect and then provide an opinion based on visual observation of the physical condition of the property in question. This inspection is not intended to be technically exhaustive. The inspection addresses only those components and conditions that are present, visible, and accessible at the time of the inspection. While there may be other parts, components, or systems present, only those items specifically noted as being inspected were inspected.
Inspectors are licensed “Professional Home Inspector” by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). TREC mandates the Property Inspection Report Form to ensure all reports by “professional inspectors” follow the same format. EJM uses the most sophisticated home inspection software available to prepare and then retain the inspection report for one year.
EJM’s pricing strategy is to provide a complete Home Inspection Service and Report as defined by the TREC for a competitive price.
